Realme 6, 6 Pro, 2, 2 Pro, and C1 get updates with March 2020 security patches
With the launch of the Realme X2 Pro in October 2019, Realme entered the flagship segment. Their subsequent flagship – Realme X50 Pro, powered by a 5G enabled Snapdragon 865 chipset – greatly helped the BBK Electronics-owned brand to cement a place in the elite category. The mid-range tier is not completely left behind either, as the company recently launched the Realme 6 series in India. Both the regular Realme 6 and the Pro variant are equipped with 90Hz display and 30W fast charging, while on the software side, they run Realme UI based Android 10. Realme has now started rolling out the March 2020 security patches to the Realme 6 and 6 Pro as the first software update for the device duo. Moreover, a handful of legacy devices, such as the Realme 2, 2 Pro and Realme C1, are also receiving the same security patches on top of Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.0.
